Optional Associate Membership
Every purchase of a non-member delegate place comes with a free optional Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors. If you do not wish to take this up you can opt out of doing so during the booking process. Please note however that this will not affect the price. If you purchase the Gold Package as a non-member you will receive 12 months’ membership, if you purchase the 2 days no accommodation package you will receive 9 months’ membership, and if you purchase a single day you will receive 6 months’ membership.
If you book the Gold Package your accommodation on Tuesday June 7th is included in the price and we will reserve your accommodation for you. The accommodation is at the same venue as the conference itself, the NCTL Conference Centre in Nottingham.
If you do not book the Gold Package but require accommodation, you must book it directly with the venue, as the CIEHF will not be administering this.

Terms and Conditions
Payment must be made in full prior to the event to guarantee admission. Bookings made within 30 days of the event require payment at the point of purchase by card or Paypal in order to ensure we receive payment before the event.
Substitutions & Cancellations
Delegates may nominate an alternative person from their organisation to attend up to 24 hours prior to the start of the event, at no extra charge. Should substitution not be possible, cancellation charges apply as follows:
- 8 weeks or more prior to start of event: 10% of the delegate fee
- 4 to 8 weeks prior to start of event: 50% of the delegate fee
- 4 weeks or less prior to start of event: 100% of the delegate fee
All substitutions and cancellations must be received in writing. Where the event fees include accommodation, we will attempt to refund the accommodation costs through the venue, however this is not always possible.
Use of your contact details
When registering to attend an event organised by the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors, the contact details you supply will be stored on our database in order that we may contact you regarding that event. We may also use these details to contact you in the future to advise of forthcoming events that may be of interest to you. The Institute will never give or sell your details to a third party.
